I'm a Celebrity sweepstake or prediction league? How to play along

Planning an I'm a Celebrity sweepstake for 2026? Compare a classic draw with a family prediction league, and set either one up in minutes.

Updated 14 October 2026

I'm a Celebrity is made for watching together, and it's even better with something riding on it. There are two classic ways to play along at home: a sweepstake, or a prediction league. Here's how they compare and how to set up either for the 2026 series.

Option one: the classic sweepstake

Everyone is drawn a campmate at random and cheers them on. The last one standing wins.

  • Best for: the office, big groups, people who only half watch.
  • What's good: it takes two minutes and needs no knowledge at all.
  • The catch: it's pure luck. If you draw the first person out, your series is over on night two.

If that's what you're after, our sister site Easy Sweepstakes draws one for you and keeps track of who's still in. It works best once ITV has confirmed the cast, which usually happens a few days before the launch on Monday 16 November.

Option two: a prediction league

Everyone makes their own calls and scores points when they're right. It's the fantasy football version of I'm a Celebrity, and it rewards the person who really watches.

The kind of calls you make:

  • Who will be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle?

  • Who will be first to leave camp?

  • Who will be voted to do the most Bushtucker Trials?

  • Who will be in the final three?

  • Best for: families, group chats and anyone who loves to say "I told you so".

  • What's good: everyone stays in it all series, and the table changes every night.

  • The catch: it needs a little more thought than a draw.

How a Sofa Picks league works

  1. Start a league. The organiser picks a name and pays £3.99 once for the whole series. Everyone else plays free, however big the group.
  2. Share one link. Drop it in WhatsApp. No app, no login, no passwords.
  3. Everyone chooses how much to play. Big calls only, a few picks a week, or something every night. Nobody is left behind if they miss an episode.
  4. Watch the table move. Points update after each episode, with one table for the big calls and one overall.

Anyone in the league can also make picks for someone else, so Gran can tell you her choices and you tap them in for her. Reminders go out before picks lock, so nobody forgets.

Which one should you choose?

If you want something quick for twenty people at work, run a sweepstake. If you want three weeks of arguing over the sofa, start a league. Plenty of families do both.
